Easy way for 3d modeling like nodes for programming

Hello, i want to know if there is any software that makes modeling easy like for example playmaker makes programming easy for artists.

Nope. Most modeling programs are based around the same mesh editing and painting subset of tools. The uncommon node-based effect tools are not really for mesh modeling but more for slapping algorithms on a set of models or one particular model for an effect or alignment or something.

The closest thing to “easy modeling” we have is 3d sculpting software like Sculptris:

But such “shortcut” methods tend to produce worse result than poly-by poly modeling. You may notice from the video how terrible the mesh topology is. This in turn, influences the UV layout and makes the mesh difficult to texture. The chain reaction of fail. So such workflow is only suited for prototypes and sketches.

I was going to suggest the same thing. Sculptris is super simple to use (well for artists anyway ;)) and can produce very good results - and is free. However…

This is true to a certain extent, but I’d suggest instead of following the presumed technique in the video (I didn’t watch it) learn how to retopo with one tool, either Maya LT, 3D Max or 3D coat if you can affort them. I’m not sure about blenders retopo tools (I’ve heard they aren’t good) but Maya and Max are nearly identical, and I’ve seen 3D coats retopo tool in tutorials - and think they are the best on the market.
Sculptris will allow you to create 3D models by sculpting, without the need to worry about poly flow, or edge loops (much). After you are satisfied, import into a 3D package and retopo the model snapping verts to the surface of the sculpt. This is a common industry standard workflow now.

Another option is to consider Mudbox @ $10/month, which is a top quality sculpting package and has a pretty good auto retopo tool built into it. As long as you can import a base mesh, or use one that you can find that already has UVs, the sculpt, retopo, pbr texture can all be done inside Mudbox. Then you could use mixamo to rig if it is a humanoid character.
