I was wondering if someone could help me with an efficient way of having a border aura around the edge of my level? If anyone played City of Heroes or City of Villains you’ll know what I mean but here is an image of what I would like it to be:
I tried doing this myself but ended up making the FPS drop massively compared to how it should run.
You could try using Fog by going to render settings, set fog mode to linear, and set the linear fog start and fog ends to a high enough value that only the edges of the map are fogged, like having them set to 270 and 300 respectively. put large cubes in the distance so the fog shows up.
To answer this; I managed to get hold of a decent particle emitter that did the job for me!
