I’m not sure what’s going on here. But I go to add a new Addressable profile or edit an exiting one. And somehow other profiles get changed or my changes aren’t retained. Something with the Addressables profile editor seems wonky or perhaps I’m not using it right?
Is anybody else having this issue? I’m on Addressables 1.8.4.
Hey there. I’ll flag with the team, but it might be worth upgrading to a newer version of the package. Version 1.8.4 is quite an old version.
Yeah, I’d like to second what @TreyK-47 said. 1.8.4 is quite old at this point. I vaguely remember some issues that sound similar to what you’re seeing that were fixed a while back. I’d give upgrading a try
Apologies, I misspoke on our Addressables number. We’re actually on 1.16.10. Accidentally copied here our old Addressables version number. I’ll try updating to 1.16.16 which seems to be the latest verified version.
We haven’t done the upgrade yet to 1.16.16. But I can confirm I’m on Addressables 10.16.10 and I just repro’d the bug. Recorded a video of it here:
Notice I have v12 selected and make an edit. But then I switch over to v11 and it has that edit. And then switch back to v12 and the edit is gone.
Hi I believe there a fix for this bug in the next release 1.17.16, which should be out by the end of this week or next week. Let us know if the issue still persists after upgrading to that version.
