I just downloaded the experimental build with new 2D features.
I know this is not really related, but i could not find any “alpha build” forum.
I was wondering what does the “Testing” menu mean, and whether the items under it are functional in this build ?
Hi. We do not have an Alpha build forum. This forum is for the 2D Experimental Preview build. The Alpha builds are not available any more.

I just downloaded a build for the 2d features that was labelled 5.5 alpha 1… that is the build i saw these “edit mode tests” in. Is that not an alpha build?
This is a specific build for the 2D features listed. It is based upon the latest code trunk in our repository and that is currently named 5.5a1. This is not a 5.5a1 build for alpha feedback, it’s a 2D experimental feature build specifically for that purpose as stated about.
