I am having problems installing Unity, the problem is taking place in other versions of Unity Hub and with other versions of Unity Editor. Has anyone had the same problem, found a solution?
Same issue. Back to version Unity Hub 2.4.4.
Same issue tried many times also
I’ve been having this problem for 2 months now
same error, trying to install 2021.3.7f1
still cant install with same problem
Same issue I am facing since Last two weeks
same i tried 6 times and it still didn’t work
I solved this problem by adding system variables to ComSpec C:\Windows\System32\cmd.exe
I checked install log and saw the error related to cmd.exe then i realized that there is no defined variable to reach cmd. Simply go system variables click new, variable name ComSpec, path is C:\Windows\System32\cmd.exe (this path might be different on your computers just be sure about it.)
I had the ComSpec set by default but still encountered the problem. How did you check the install log? I dont find an obvious way to do so. TYVM!
I have downloaded the engine 10 to 12 times using different methods, but it is giving nsis error I have internet connection.
Unity package is not installing giving same error again and again can anyone help plz NSIS error
same error too ,so i don’t kow if there is a solution
Install the unity setup from the archive. click the archive >download archive(the blue text) >download the file manually following these steps. And after the installation double click the file to install it. Then open unity and click on the load buttor, locate the file that you installed, in that file there is a file named ’ Unity '. load that, you can use the editor.
This THREE YEAR OLD issue has not been fixed as of October 24, the manual installation workaround suggested above works, but I’m now reconsidering jumping into Unity with both feet.
If they can’t fix something this basic and literally showstopping for new users for three years they probably aren’t a very responsive or competent organization in general, nevermind the recent attempt to abuse their marketshare with a predatory pricing model.
