Editor Catches Function Keys?

While playing a game in the editor, the editor seems to be catching the function key presses. (These are used in the game.) Is this supposed to happen?

I’m having the same issues with my project. I’ve mapped the F2 key which is one of the keys the Unity Editor uses (sets “scale”). I’m guessing this is normal, but it might be helpful to have a preference selection to disable F keys in the editor while the game view is active… in fact there may be a way to set this, I just don’t know how to do it…
