Hi
I am trying to create an AI Path Editor in Unity for iPhone using the Editor classes. At first I did my programming on the “Unity 3D engine”, and then I tried to migrate it to “Unity 3D for iPhone”. The following line gives me the following compile time error:
Assets/Editor/PathEditor.cs(276,81): error CS1501: No overload for method PositionHandle' takes 1’ arguments
restoredValues[positionHanddleIndex].position = UnityEditor.Handles.PositionHandle(restoredValues[positionHanddleIndex].position );
Now, this error is because the UnityEditor.Handles class doesn’t contain the PositionHandle function with a single argument (it requires 2 arguments) on Unity for iPhone. Though the same works fine on Unity 3D for Mac with a single argument.
Apart from this, I found many other differences between Unity3D and Unity for iPhone, with respect to the Editor classes.
My question is that are there supposed to be differences with respect to the Editor classes between Unity 3D and Unity 3D for iPhone. If yes, is there a consolidated resource where these differences are documented and explained.
