Editor dark theme problem

Hi,

I’m not sure what created the issue; but I have kind of a mix of color (from personal/pro) in my Dark theme (I have Unity plus)

I tried reinstalling Unity and it happens only in 2018.1 (or 2018.1.1)

The light greys are way to bright

Normally it goes like that:

Do you have any 3rd party assets in your project? These could mess with GUIStyle’s and cause this issue.

Yeah… quite a lot actually. Is there a way to find the one that would create such issue without having to delete them and creates more issues in my project?

If there is a lot, deleting them one by one is the best way. Though what I would do is duplicate your entire project and do the testing/deleting in the duplicate project until you find it. That way you are not risking your actual project.

Would like to put that topic up. I never found any asset interfering with the Dark theme and still have the issue in 2018.2

I do not have this issue in 2017.4.

I even created a clean project and the issue is there from the begining.

Is there anyone who knows how to reset the theme or find a way to troubleshot the issue?

The color mix makes a lot of things impossible to read actually.

Is it just that plugin? Does the regular game object inspector look right?

If something wrote to the default editor skin (probably by accident, or through a strange interaction between multiple plugins) that’d persist through projects. Take a clean install and replace the ‘editor default resources’ file in the install folder with a fresh copy.

The inspector looks right

It is a clean install :frowning:

It’s look ok in regular Inspector. Issue is the same with PolyBrush
