Editor performance

Hello,

Just wondering if the Editor Team has any plans to fix the longstanding performance issues with the editor?

i.e
The editor consuming tens of ms and accounting for 50~70% of the profiled performance despite the following conditions:

No scene view is visible.
Nothing selected in inspector
Nothing being printed to console
No Gizmo draw in game view

The game is able to easily maintain 150 to 200 frames constant on a build out and consistently will chug around 60 frames when playing the game in editor with the above affordances.

Is anyone on the team able to explain why I might be experiencing such high diversion of my machines resources to what appears to be nothing? I have already benchmarked my machine, exited any and all other programs that could be consuming resources, I have already spend hours and hours of my life investigating if it is something I and my team are doing.

This deficiency of the editor costs us a lot of time wasted exploring frame drops and overall lags in performance.
We have tried everything in our power as your customers to make your product work properly.
Does anyone on the team even understand why the performance is so bad?

Deeply interested in seeing any single soul from this organization take responsibility and provide help beyond silently watching the numerous valid complaints fly out into the void that is this forum.

Unity 2021.3.5f1 DX11
Windows 11 Home
AMD Ryzen 9 6900HS
NVIDIA GeForce 3070Ti

Is there anything that can be done to not have the editor do this?
Our project is already very lean, small number of scripts, we are only using FMOD and ProBuilder.
