Editor Problem with UI-Elements - 2019.3.6f1

Hey!

I was using the editor for quite some while during this session of making my game and then all of the sudden I’m completey unable to move my buttons, toggles, dropdowns or anything else of the sort except the canvas and the panel(s). At first I saw that(image 1) this problem(buttons outside the canvas) had occured, I could move the buttons back into place however after moving them I could no longer move anything else(except canvas+panels).

EDIT: I can move the texts of each UI-element, I can’t select the buttons etc in the Scene-tab
SOLVED: Restarting the program, solved this issue(my bad for not trying this first hah!)

Are you using a LayoutGroup such as Horizontal, Vertical, or GridLayoutGroup? These will take over the positioning of your objects.

No, all buttons etc, were put in place using “Rect Transform”
