Got a brand new iMac 24 running a M1 chip. I installed several editor versions from the LTS to the Beta but I got every time the same problem.
When I create a project, nothing added in the scene, the scene view and the game view starts flickering… the image disappear and reappear when I’m moving my mouse over the window scene view or the game view.
I googled this and tried several version: 2020.3.20f1, 2021.1.25f1, 2021.1.26f1, 2021.2.0b16 and 2021.2.0b16 Apple Silicon Preview.
I am wondering if I’m missing something … how all of these versions can have the same issue…
Same issue. It seems to have started since upgrading my macOS to Monterey. It only seems to happen when running the Apple Silicon native preview. I can run the Intel build and it doesn’t happen.
Ah, I have the exact same issue with 2020.3.20f1! Flickering, nothing in the scene and very sticky to use. I have Macbook Pro M1 and imported a unity package which was created and saved in a pc. I thought that was the problem!

Huzzah! It looks like the flickering is when color space is set to Gamma, as switching to linear made it go away. I think the RP difference was just that a new URP project started in Linear color space.
[/quote]I switched my color space to linear from gamma and that fixed the flicker issue.
Yep, same for me. I’m also running an M1 MacBook Air running Unity 2020.3.22f1. Switching to Linear from Gamma stopped the flickering (which was super obnoxious). In fact it was less like flickering than straight up showing a gray screen that only refreshed when I selected an object in the scene in the Hierarchy.
