Electricity to shock player

Hey all,

i have a particle system that randomly spits out electricity in random intervals.
can particle systems collide with other objects? in order to inflict damage.

i was looking for tutorials but couldnt find anything suitable.

Ok good video, but it doesnt explain how to make a PS collide with a player object.
