Empty Scene And Global Illuminaion

Hello!

Why even GI for empty scene is causing CPU consumption.
Is there any way to disable these things completely ?

I m using Unity 2017.3.0p3.

Does the issue still persist even if you disable Baked GI option under Mixed Lighting? When that option is enabled, GI systems are still running

I m not using any light, and after disabling Baked GI option under Mixed Lighting. it still using CPU.

In the meanwhile, rest assured that GI-related CPU usage which you’ve reported does not occur in the standalone build. The problem is only present within the editor itself, and will not impact the performance of your game once it is built.
