Empty Unity Project Android Build Size is 30MB!

Using 5.6.1f building with an empty Scene the .apk size is 12MB and the Install size on Android is 30Mb.

libUnity.so alone takes up 17Mb.

Device filter is set to ARMv7 and Stripping to micro mscorlib.

Is this Normal?

Yes, this is normal.

That’s unfortunate. I remember making apps that were less than 20MB extracted on Android. Don’t understand why the size increased over time.

It’s because the engine is growing. Plus, isn’t this normal size for mobile games now?
(I assume we are discussing games, not tiny useful <10MB apps)
