I use Unity 2019.3.11f1 and in Package Manager is no such thing as Entities package. I have searched internet but nothing found.

Ye, that was ticked been using preview packages all along. Appears to be something to do with the latest beta release. Went back to an older release and Entities is back again. I am assuming that there may be some lag between beta release and version requirements for the DOTS packages.

If you’re using 2020 alpha or beta, this check is moved into the Project settings. See pic below. You really shouldn’t use 2019 beta if this is the case.

Actually i’ve beta tested for years, but haven’t changed my packages for a long time so when skimming over the change logs, had simply missed this change. I had just simply decided to have a look over some of the changes to DOTS since I had last tried it out. Not current actively developing with it due to constant changes with the DOTS system.

Although thanks for pointing this change out.

I meant that 2019 beta was a long time ago. If 2019, we’l have LTS soon. In the 2020 cycle we have a lot of exciting things in the DOTS world.

Okay I see what your meant, I am using 2020.1.0b10

I am using the Unity 2020.1.0f1. When I enable Preview Packages, i can see some of them, but many are missing. In example I can’t see Entities or AI Planner

Does anyone know what’s going on here?

Can someone explain how to add these unlisted packages in unity now? I am specifically looking for the DOTS packages like Entities
