Environment art workflow is broken

The tools needed to make realistic natural environments are just not there. There are some scattering tools on the asset store but they all have insurmountable pitfalls and are a constant battle to deal with.

I just want to make a landscape, please improve the tools.

That actually looks quite nice. Does the tool have a function that prevents crowding of prefabs like grass clusters?
