ERRO in wwwForm example of Unity References!

Hi,

I am new to Unity and I am trying to run the wwwform example from unity references in this link : http://docs.unity3d.com/Documentation/ScriptReference/WWWForm.html

But I’ve got this error:

Error downloading: 405 Method Not Allowed
UnityEngine.MonoBehaviour:print(Object)

Any body can help me out? Is there any way to not using Perl Script and using ASP.NET for getting information on the server side?

please help me it is urgent

Hi,

Just to bring my findings on this topic:

you get this 405 error when the server url is only defined for a particular REST method that is not the one you are using.

Typically, if you define a route for GET, and you use wwwForm to addfields, the www request becomes a POST, and so this is likely the problem for you ( it was my problem).

So if you are using f3 ( php), when you have

$f3->route('GET /test',
   function()
   {
      echo 'too bad, you get 405 if you use wwwForm fields';
    }
);

Do this:

$f3->route('POST /test',
   function()
   {
      echo 'that works when you use wwwForm fields';
    }
);

Bye,

Jean
