Whenever I open Unity I get that screen above. None of the buttons on it work either. If I “load default layout” the screen disappears for 1 second and gives me that again. “Revert Factory Settings” brings me to an “are you sure?” screen and then back to that one.

You can force the Project Selector to pup up during startup of Unity when you hold the alt or shift key right after you opened the exe, which could solve your problem, especially when a project with errors would be loaded by default. This gives you the chance to start a new clean project so see if Unity works properly.

I was able to open Unity by clicking on the project I started as opposed to the program itself. Not sure what caused the problem, so I don’t know how to prevent it from happening again.
