Error codes

I’m getting a lot of error codes when I try and build for uwp, I’ve been having the problem since I went from 2019 to 2020, I just upgraded to 2020.1.9 and this happens. And I need an answer quick, I got over 5 thousand people waiting on an update. Is there a fix, am I missing something? Error codes in image down below

If you want a quick answer you should post the full error. Most of the error appears to be cut off in your images. But if you are in a hurry, upgrading between Unity major versions should not have been something you were even considering.

What do you think I should do? Should I reimport all? Reinstall unity?

If you’re in a hurry I would use your version control system to revert back to Unity 2019, then add whatever fixes or improvements you were intending to do there. Then test and ship your build. When you have real time to spend on it, you plan for major Unity version upgrades. I always plan for at least a week to find and resolve any issues caused by a Unity version change, since you really need to retest everything in your project.

Before I do that, I’m going to reimport and see if that helps

Reverting your project using your version control didn’t work? That doesn’t make any sense. Good luck though.

So you tried reverting your project with version control, and building it in the original version of Unity you were using?

If so, it sounds like it might not be a problem with your project, but possibly the Unity install. Giving up on an entire project because you couldn’t solve something like a build issue in one day isn’t going to get you very far with any project, especially if it is an issue with Unity and not your project.

Post the entirety of the error messages in text form (and not with a low quality phone camera), and it would be easier to help.

So I contacted unity and they looked into the issue and they said it’s something with unity because I try with the version control and it didn’t work. Should I try to reinstall unity?

Yea, I’m going to reinstall unity because I tried it on a completely different project and it didn’t work, and unity said it’s probably something with the path so I’m going to do that
