Goggle reaps no rewards for this error code pertaining to Unity.
Dont know what could have caused this.
I have the same error. I assume the installer has problems installing the Unity to other drive than C:.
The only thing that I did was change the location for installation to somewhere on drive F, and right after installation I got the same message: “Internal compiler error. See the console log for more information. output was:error CS1679: Invalid extern alias for /reference. Alias ‘F:/’ is not a valid identifier

So I think you guys should solve this issue, because I am pretty sure the app wont work with this error
