Error: Framework 'Mono / .NET 3.5' not installed

Hi
New to unity and try to modify my first script and get:
Error: Framework ‘Mono / .NET 3.5’ not installed. (Assembly-CSharp-firstpass)

What to do / install on win8.1?

Hi Mike4,

It seems that the .NET 3.5 libraries are not installed by default in win8. You can switch them on however by following these handy instructions here

does unity work with newer .net versions than 2.0? I only see 2.0 and 2.0 Subset in the player settings.
