Hello, I’m working with UGS services and I’m having a problem when I want to apply an override on the products available in my store through ECONOMY.
When I don’t have any audience or JEXL set up, the override properly modifies the Virtual Purchases. But as soon as I select an audience, the override is not applied, and instead I get the basic data of the Virtual Purchase.
We’ve been testing and experimenting a lot, and from what we can tell all the internal programming related to UGS of the project works correctly: we are logged in, we have the player ID, we request the product information from economy manually to be sure that we belong to an audience where an override should be applied but none occurs.
Is there any extra configuration to apply for the audiences to work or should it only be through the backend?
As an extra note, this happens both with custom audiences as well as with the predefined audiences that are part of UGS. None seem to work, even basic ones like Recently Active Players. We’ve tried on editor, windows and Android with no success.
Hello, we are aware of an issue with Economy and game overrides currently. You can try to test game overrides using Remote Config directly to see if you are handling your overrides correctly. If it works fine to modify remote config data with audiences, you might be experiencing the bug we have with Economy.
