Error opening unity.exe

I have reinstalled windows xp in my laptop and when i install unity and open it, y got this error

“La aplicacion no se ha podido inicializar correctamente (0xc0150002). Haga clic en Aceptar para terminar la aplicacion”

I have a new windows xp installation with SP3, Net framework 1, 2 and 3…
i don’t know why it happend…

have you got an anti-virus program thats possible blocking the execution of the .exe ?

A spanish-speaking friend tells me that the error may be the one discussed in this thread. It’s probably just a matter of installing Visual C++ 2008 and maybe a bit of other stuff.
