Error when building Asset Bundles

Hi, I’m trying to build Asset bundles for PS4 but Unity throws me an error which is not throwed on co-workers computer and I don’t know what to do about it.
The error message is :

Build Failed; No version limits found for this version. 0x00000000
UnityEditor.BuildPipeline.BuildAssetBundles

Does someone knows what can cause this error ?
Thanks have a nice day

PS : Unity version : 2018.4.23.f1

Just looked at the source, this is pretty much a SDK install failure. It’s trying to extract the “Version Limits” info from the installed sdk version folder and failing.

Did anyone find a solution for this? This happens on just one of our projects, while the other 3 we tried (with much of the same code) work. Tried on multiple computers too…

I’m having the same problem with building the project.
As soon as I start the build I get “Build failed; No version limits found for this version 0x00…”.

I just updated the PS4 SDK from 8.5 to 9 and Unity from the last version compatible with SDK 8.5 to 2019.4.36f1.
Before this update, the builds worked fine.
I also tried repairing the SDK 9 and it didn’t solve it.

I’m gonna try to uninstall it and install it again and come back with an answer.

I ran into the same problem but uninstalling all the PS4 SDKs, re-installing 8.50 and changing to a different, compatible Unity version didn’t solve the issue.
Does anyone have any hint or idea?

Hello,

If this problem is unique to PlayStation 4 then could you create a new thread in the Unity area of the forums on Sony DevNet? PlayStation 4 has NDAs which prevent us from discussing it here.

Thanks,
Peter
