Error when I open Unity

Hi,

I’ve just downloaded and installed Unity 4 on Windows 7 64-bit.

When I open it, it returns the following error:

Opening file library metadata/00/00000…
failed: The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process.

I tried opening it “As Administrator” but still I get the same error.

Sounds like the install process left a hanging thread. Reboot and try. I’d be worry about the install being correct though. Is the install on a SkyDrive or something weird?

I changed nothing in the Installation Wizard… .just the normal clikcing on Next Next. I’ll reboot the machine and get back to you about the outcome.

I rebooted the machine
no luck…
I uninstalled Unity and installed it again… same error!!
