Trying to download Unity Personal from the unity3d website and get a message that the website/executable has a trojan. Is this true (yes I know I can turn off my firewall but I want confirmation)? Happens on both Chrome and Firefox with Windows 10 and MaCafee.

Could you make a screenshot of the alert? Sounds like you have a really crappy virus program, or a terrible virus that’s injecting something into your downloads.

Click “Downloads (Win)” and on the bottom there’s a torrent download. In theory, torrents are more secure since they are verified, but you shouldn’t be having any problems downloading Unity. I can assure you that Unity isn’t distributing trojans
