Errors when using sample projects

Hi all, I posted this on the physics forum, but it’s a little quiet there at the moment. Hopefully someone can help me here.

I’m attempting to try out the Unity Physics samples project, but it won’t compile for me in 2020.3.19f1. The editor has no Play/Pause buttons either. The same unity installation works fine outside of the physics sample project.

The error messages are not the easiest to understand. It mentions LiveLink, which I haven’t used before (or set up) as I’m just working within the editor in play mode at the moment. I wondered whether the sample project was setup to use LiveLink and I simply need to disable it, but I can’t find a way to do so.

Here are some screen shots:

Thanks for any help all!

Hi,
I opened the sample project with 2020.3.17f1 it worked fine. I have the following packages in the project:
And I think the second error on the screen can be ignored. It happened for me in aother project and yet I could still run the game.
