Looks nice and downloaded the lite version to give it a go however there appears to be another game in the app store with the exact same name! (with many more downloads and fairly good rating)

Yeah, I’ve noticed this a little bit to late :frowning: I already had everything ready, like logo, the
site address. The site http://www.escapethemine.com currently leads to my site http://ww.pixelperfectdude.com but i think the game site will be ready in a few days.

I also forgot to mention that I’m waiting for the Apple review, so the iOS version should be out in a few weeks from now.

If I have somefree time I’ll post some development process stuff. I’ve made the game myself in less than a month and I came across some “interesting” problems that are not easy to find in the documentation or the unity forum.

Cool I’ll be interested in hearing about it.

I gave it a try and kind of liked it.

I liked how the character stayed perfectly in the middle of the halls all the time. I think adding some rooms or other defining features so not all halls would be good to add some difference. I felt like I was doing the same thing every time with a new skin.

Pretty good overall you should be proud.

Thanks mate

I’m still thinking about some additional feautures that would make the game more “likeable” when You play for some longer time. You’re probably right about that rooms, I never thought about that. I’ll give it a try. I want to add 200 more levels soon, and this will be a good time to add something new to the game. I can’t tell You the theme of the levels, cause it’s still a secret

The fun thing about making it is that I’ve made a html/javascript editor for the labyrinths and 200 levels will take me less than 2 days  I’ll share how this thing works as soon as can and post a link here to

I added a YouTube video to the main post if someone is interested. It should also be visible in Google Play in a few minutes.

I think you need to be careful about making levels just because it is so trivial for you. If the levels don’t offer something new you won’t get engagement. 400 is a loooot, but im guessing they are pretty similar. Have you played through them all?

You’re probably right :frowning: Currently the levels differ in size. The first are on a grid 16x16 and the last 38x38. Here is a img showing the difference:

I’m thinking about some additional stuff and maybe I’ll finish it by the end of the week.

Here is a link to sketchfab.com, where You can upload Your 3D models. I’ve uploaded something from the game:

Yeah!!! Escape The Mine is in AppStore now!!! Check it out all You Apple lovers

New version available for Android. Still waiting for Apple review. Here are some screens and Youtube video:

Nice game - good job done! Tested it on iPhone - runs smoothly.

Like the ambient - spooky  Maybe UI is a bit too ‘pixely’, but perhaps this was intended?

Yeah, this was what i wanted from the start. When You play there are two 128x128 textures and one 64x64, it’s about 10-12 drawcalls and 10 000 verts so it runs basically on everything. And because I’m all alone this was a much quicker and easier way.

I’ve just changed the Android LITE version to FREE with ads. You can now check all the labyrinths! :stuck_out_tongue:

The link’s the same:

Just scheduled this to install when tablet starts (its charging now)

Also should it be ‘4 creatures haunting mines’

Who knows, looks good anyway so will give it a try later.

Oh nooo! Gonna change this tomorrow  Thanks

I have to say your game is now so much better than when you first released. It is night and day. I hope things are working out well with the downloads.

I actually really like the pixel interface and am currently working on a very pixelly(is that a word lol) game

Thanks Raider  Currently I have about 40-50 downloads a day. Yesterday I added AdMob and now I’ll try to get to know it because I got 2 games coming before Christmas :stuck_out_tongue: If anybody has some resources about setting up the mediation please share. I’ll share the results of ads in my games
