Escape the sanctum

Hello all, I’ve decided it is time to unveil my new game, ATM called “Escape the sanctum”, A puzzle / a bit scary game, basically you have to avoid the baddies that are hunting you and escape their sanctum. They have some limitations though see when you look at them they cannot move like Weeping Angels from Dr. Who and Slender Man from Slender(I think?), this is part of the gameplay there will be doors etc in the dungeon that have buttons to open how it works is that you must not look at a bad guy until he is on the switch and opens the door, then go through whilst looking at it.

Anywho, after a day or two working on it this is my results, the AI is done:

0.5. Add Sound effects.

  1. Add Door/switch script
    2.Add damage/death
    3.Add menu
    4.???
    5.Profit.

Indeed, but Undead Pixel is a much bigger game and I want to get out a few games this year so I’m just developing Undead Pixel in my spare, spare time :wink:

These are current builds, just really tests. I found that it is hard to get them to be on the platforms, they move over them very quickly, I’m thinking that when they step onto the platform they trigger it for a few seconds?

This is the AND build LINK, With that one the bad guys have to be on both platofroms.
This is the OR build LINK The badguys only need to be one one of the platforms in this one.

Basicly each room is like a “level” and it will save the room you are up to, and you can restart a room.

Any views or opinions on this?

0.55PA is the latest build, I’ve decided that when the bad guys are on switched they slow down, this gives some time to go through a door. LINK

What’s news?:

  1. Graphics Update, switches now have graphics and it is easy to tell is a bady is on the switch.
  2. The level loading and saving system is done.
