Evasion from cluster 42 (Arcade space shooter)

Evasion from Cluster 42, an arcade spaceshooter for 1 or 2 players with 3D GFX and a Background Story. There are lots of different levels in totally different environments.

The games has some unique features:

  • Play every level from top down view or view from the side. You’ll get a different view and a different experience that way for each level!

  • You can decide if enemies appear and behave in a random way or completly linear always the same.- There is also a retro shader if you want the game to look like in the 90s but better

  • You can totally change and build your ship your style there are about 30 different ship parts for a unique look and abilities, and extra modules and weapons. You can also rotate your weapons and tell the ship how to use it’s energy…

  • 1 or 2 players

  • There are daily and weekly quests and also trophies

  • Beside the story mode with its cutscenes and levels there is an arcade and a space invaders mode.

The game is being developed with Unity 2022.2, using Enviro and some other assets.
It will be ready 2023 and is already playable. We target Windows-PC and would like PS5/XBox too if we find a possibility to do so, I will have some questions about that later

Intro and Tutorial

Funfacts:the name was Galaxy:Rescue at first, but was too close to an existing name. I wanted to call it “I have to save the GALAXY and all I got is this rusty cockpit” but that was too long

this looks amazing, also the metal track, graphics are 9, or even 10 rating . . .

if you could perhaps add bit #techno, to the metal soundtrack it’d be super - cool, however it’s rare to find a cool idea, and also have bit story, and metal music, think it could be a surprise - classic, perhaps more indie stuff, etc etc . . .

Thanks for your interest. Yes the trailer sounds metal, but in the game itself there are also space-synthesizer tracks as well

We will also create new trailer in a few weeks and I will add more screenshots later.

I am thinking about having a playable free beta as well in a few weeks.

The full game will available for a small price on Itch.io or maybe even steam (I am a bit afraid of the 100$ fee there) or maybe on MS Store, I am thinking about bringing it to XBox or Playstation but I have no experince in that…

start on itch-io, you could also set amount of money they make to 2 - 10 % think, more if it’s first - ever, and also it’s a small download size, make sure to share also with friends // remember, people you know tend to be kind critics . . . :hushed:

This is what the base looks like when it is fully equipped. Taks a lot of metal and other resources

This is the maximum improved ship with some additional weapons. You can modify and change and mix the parts like cockpit, body, wings, the engine and the weapons on the cockpit and the wings.

We made the silver parts more shiny and improved lighing and reflections. I hope it is not too much
This is a spaceship mixed of different rusty and shiny parts in the home base where you can buy / create ship parts.
