Event System Platform Differences

Hello all,
I’m having some issues when switching a project from Android to iOS, I’m using Cardboard and Unity 5.3.4f1.
the issue is that the canvas UI I have and the event system’s StandaloneInputModule and GazeInputModule may have problems or may work differently in iOS than in Android, because the same UI works flawlessly in Android but not in iOS. In iOS the UI buttons stop working unless I disable the StandaloneIM.
Why is that? Why in one platform works good and in the other doesn’t?
