Hi all. On my last quit, I got an error about a file being unwriteable. Since my project was already saved, I figured I could safely ignore the error and clicked “force quit.” Now however, I’ve just re-opened my project to find literally everything is missing. There were some errors in console about Unity being unable to find Blender (which makes sense since Blender wasn’t intalled on this computer; that’s never caused me problems before) and my scene is completely blank.
All my GameObjects still exist in the Hierarchy, but every associated mesh, collider, material, prefab, avatar, script, etc. are listed as “Missing.” The prefabs in my Assets folder are similarly broken, so I can’t simply drag all the objects back into the scene and re-position them as they were before. I have to reset the prefabs, then reposition them all in the scene, then modify each object to get them back to the state they were in before. For some objects, this involves dragging and dropping about 20-30 materials/meshes back into place. Is there any way to repair the damage automatically? I’ve already tried the Reimport All option with no success.
