I recently upgraded unity from 5.3 to 5.5, and everything seems … shinier. Specifically, the highlights on objects are much more noticeable. Are there any changes that would cause this? Any changes I can make to fix that without editing materials on asset store packages?
Have you checked release notes for 5.4.x thru 5.5x versions?
I have looked at the notes, but I don’t understand what effect many things might have.
I noticed a few other discrepancies from before the update, namely some shadows not appearing where they used to be. This ultimately lead me to discover that the upgrade somehow changed my render path settings. I changed them back and now stuff looks normal.
