Are the example projects, presented in some of the videos about Unity 3, also available for download?
No, the only one available right now from those videos is Bootcamp. Dark Unity will be released as a standalone. The other project folders might be released, but they need to be cleaned up a bit.
It would be nice having access to such Unity 3 examples.
I especially was interested in the one with the light bulbs, which was used for illustrating the advantages of deferred rendering.
Personally, I’d rather have some of the small tech demos that appeared on Vimeo. Since the docs on some of the newer features is sort of sparse, it’d be nice to see some examples and the settings used.
Like the cloth physics one?
That’s the first one that comes to mind (as I’m experimenting with cloth physics right now). But since there are lots of new physics functionality, it would be nice to see some really well tweaked examples that includes all the new functions and features.
Yes it would be good for learning purposes.
The light bulbs were presented in one of the vimeo videos as well.
