Experienced Programmer willing to [remotely] teach game programming

Hello,

I am an experienced programmer with real world experience in many programming domains. I even wrote a few 3D engines from scratch (both Software Rendering, OpenGL and Direct3D engines), before I started using Unity3D which is indeed a nice engine to work with.

Now, I am seriously considering to remotely teach people how to program Unity3D games, from the ground up to completion, using C# code.

Paypal will be accepted as payment for the 4 weeks of each course duration.

I am good at teaching because I was a programming instructor for 7 years in a row, when I was younger.

My training series would cover from the initial programming concepts to a full game development in Unity3D, giving all foundation needed to participants to later continue their research and proceed with their enlightenment.

The training would happen in realtime, using Skype (with text and voice), plus screen sharing. I wont just drop a lot of lines or ready projects into you, I will teach you from the initial concepts and we will develop many things together, starting with clean, empty projects, so you will actually learn and understand how things do actually work, becoming able to create your own new games and write new code yourself.

It means you are not committed and is entirely your fault. As in any learning experience, a teacher is able to give you guidelines and help you solve some issues but it cannot force you to learn. Also, you cant expect to become a pro after his course.

Maybe what you can do is tell us how much you are looking for based on the number of people that joined and we will see if we can pay you based on what you are requesting its easier that way and you might still have an incentive to hold some classes with us.
