Experiences with Unity for non-gaming thesis?
I wondered if there is anybody who used Unity for a non-gaming related master thesis?
I was thinking about using Unity to “interactively visualize multidimensional time series data”. Similiar to what Hans Rosling did at TED (see here and here). Only in 3D, more interactive, better looking and waaaay cooler
I am bit of a functional language buff and with Unity 2, using F# - Mono 1.2.5 - I might convince a Prof. to take this. So anybody willing to share his/her experiences with Unity in an academic environment?
Thanks,
Alex
