Experimental Unity game featured in Experimental Gameplay at GDC 2011

hi all,

I thought I’d share the good news that my experimental game Maquette was chosen to be featured at this year’s Experimental Gameplay Workshop session at Game Developer’s Conference. I’m quite honored. Previous games featured in the session went on to big things, such as Katamari Damacy, Portal, Flower, Braid, and World of Goo.

If you’re going to be at GDC, check the session out. It’s always filled with games that are inventive, unique, and I always leave the session feeling inspired and excited about the ideas and concepts. Hopefully this year my game will live up to the reputation of the session. The session is:

Thursday March 3rd, @ 1:30 in Room 303, South Hall

Congrats! Im not going, but I hope I will see some of it on youtube.

I there any video or something about your game? What is about?
Cheers,

Thanks! I don’t have videos up. I barely had time to enter it into EGW, and as soon as I did, I had to get back to a more pressing project.

I hope to post videos shortly after GDC, but the gameplay is built around a world within a world. Hard to explain, so I’m not going to bother trying. A video will make more sense, when I get the chance.

Hey - thats fantastic. Congrats!

Like the others - I’m really curious and I’m looking forward to seeing a video

All the best of luck for the show.

Tony

Unfortunately things were a little too hectic at the booth for me to get to the session but congrats
