As the title suggests. I need to rebake the lightmap when I restart Unity or reload the scene in order to preview the lightmap.
But the catch is that all my material on the scene clearly has the lightmap “Baked in” and the lightmaps are also stored in the lightning data asset.
Can someone please provide a solution or an answer for this?
It’s a known issue and we have a fix incoming for it. Unity Issue Tracker - Unable to fetch the correct bake backend after upgrading the project with the old lighting data
Please take note that the fix is not available yet, even though the Issue Tracker says it is. I’ve updated the case and it should display the correct information within the next couple of hours.
