Exporting animations from Unity into Blender

Hello everyone, thanks for reading.

I’m trying to export some animations that were carefully modified in Unity over many hours, to be imported into Blender for fine tuning. I’ve read many posts and watched many videos about the topic and right now I’m using the FBX exporter and Timeline. However, when I try to open the fbx file in Blender, the animation is there but there’s no armature, so I’m having trouble using the animation. Am I doing something wrong? I’ve been banging my head against the wall for days. Any lead would be greatly appreciated…

Because it’s “Export clip to fbx” here, there are only animation curves. You can select the GameObject in the scene, right-click and “Export to fbx”. At this time, you can select “Model(s) + Animation”.

Thank you very much!!
