Exporting folders into a package???

Hello,
I created a prefab of an object that has children that uses scripts and materials. When I export the prefab into a package and select all its dependencies, I am unable to include the folders that the scripts read from to put into the package as well. My scripts read .txt files from a folder and collect data that way, but without the folder of the .txt files also included into the package, that package won’t work when I open it in other projects. How can I add these files and folders into my package? Thank you.

How are you unable to include the scripts? Are they all located in the project folder? And have you checked the “include all dependencies” box? Or have I misunderstood something?

When I check the “include all dependencies” box, it doesn’t automatically allow you to include all the folders and files that a scripts reads from (via the ‘streamreader’, ‘streamwriter’ or whatever code is used to read and write files from within a script). This can be a problem whenever a developer is trying to create a prefab and a package that contains objects that uses previous scripts that read from files and folders, and there is no way of importing these files and folders into a prefab or package to copy when you export the package into another project. I have to manually copy those files and folders myself into another project. Is there a way to create better mobility in packaging?
