Sorry if it’s a 3dsmax problem, I am having problems exporting 3dsmax object which has WSM modifier(like a plane with “hair and fur” or an animation: a box bound to a bomb space warp)
when I import the exported fbx file to unity, it turns out that those attributes disappear. The plane losts its hair and the bomb doesnt work.
I tried to find any information on web but in vain. Does anyone run into the same problem? thx~
2)Animations on Position,Scaling,Rotation,Skinned Animation.
3)Doesn’t support World Space Modifiers(WSM)
4)Doesn’t support vertex animations like if u do any animation with NOISE Modifier,Wave Modifier,Ripple Modifier etc in 3Ds Max.
Hair and Fur in 3DS max is a post processing effect which is meant to stay in 3ds max and take out as render output image.If you convert the hair splines as geometry you can take it to unity but the poly count will be very high and cannot be animated which I do not recomend
