Im trying to get to know unity better. However, having a lack of time i couldnt even finish the fps tutorial yet.
Anyway to extend the trial period?

You can ask the folks at Unity Tech for a demo extension. Email is info@unity3d.com or support@unity3d.com
Let me correct BigK just a bit. Folks should write us at sales@unity3d.com, as this is a pre-sales effort after all. Don’t write info@ as that’s a whole different thing (for general company information) and don’t write support@ as those folks are there to support licensed customers.
With that in mind, BigK was spot on in that you can write us (sales@unity3d.com) and request an extension as we don’t mind doing that now and again. Keep in mind that we generally only give a second trial so if you do request one then make the most of it!
