extinguish fire with particle system

Hi, I am trying to extinguish fire with particle system. I tried every single possibility here. But i couldn’t succeed. I tried this script last. where am i wrong?

hi. i have been trying the same thing. i have a fire extiguisher and a fire both with a parytical system but it does not seem to work. i have tried to give them both colliders and make them colide with eachother but to no avail.

i did get a tip to use a invisable cube where the fire is and use that to interact with the fire extiguisher.

have you enabled send collision message in your particle collision module?
