Extremly odd behavior! Bug?

I am experiencing some very odd behavior from unity. All animations in the game I am working on have started to play really slow on my computer. It seems like the project settings → time → time scale has been set lower for just animations (but it’s set at 1 as usual). Builds I made months ago that have worked fine before are now acting the same way. That’s just odd! If I do a build and ask my co-workers to try it it plays fine.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling unity several times. Tried rebooting the computer. I noticed unity keeps the player pref saves and some unity settings between installs. Where is this information hidden? Tried to do a search on my drive and removed anything I found related to unity but that didn’t help. I’m just thinking some settings or what not have been corrupted and I want to try and remove it.

(I was working at home and brought the work back to my job and that’s when this odd behavior started. Got a dual core with windows vista at home as opposed to single core windows xp at work)

If anyone has experienced anything like this please help. Thanks!

Maybe you have an antivirus which is excessively scan your files at runtime.

Asking 2.5 beta questions on the forum isn’t going to be that useful since most people on here aren’t using Unity on Windows. Ask this stuff on the beta list or file a bug.

Fair enough, will do.
