Why doesn’t it work in unity.
I exported from DAZ as FBX with morphs box checked.
I saw a few posts of other people also having the same problem.
Is it possible for daz characters imported to Unity to have facial expresisons and facial animations in Unity?
INterestingly when i export from DAZ as OBJ and import that to Unity, the facial expression does work.
I wonder why it doesn’t work when exporting as FBX
I got it!!!
IN Case anyone wants to know.
What you have to do in the FBX export in DAZ is Add a new Export Morph Rule.
and you just put “Head” in the Match section and choose EXPORT in the other section.
Now Facial expressions do work in Unity

Well guys i’m back. although it did work for single facial expression and no animation in facial animation. I haven’t yet figured out how to make it work for facial animations.
I’m back guys to report that it seems i can have facial expressions in the character if it’s just a single frame(no animation) in my character.
But if i have an animation in the expression, then no facial expression is even created, not even in the first frame.
Any tips around this?
Right click in Animated lite click burn to studio key frames, then export with Morphs on, I have a head with animated expressions YAY!
in 2022, Enable Morph Exports during FBX export from DAZ
clear the list of morphs and leave Anything,“Bake”
Daz Will automatically Select the morphs used in the Animation
