Failed Importing Assets

Hi,

I’ve been using Unity for a couple of months now, and I ran into a problem when I tried to open the 2D Platform Tutorial. It was upon the importing of the assets, apparently, it corrupted a Unity file, and now I get this message: (attached to post)

I assumed this just corrupted a Unity file which is overwritten during installation, so I uninstalled and re-installed, yet, when I attempt to open the sample island project, I still get that error…
Does anyone have this file, so I may replace it? Or do I just remove the file?

I use Windows 7 64 Bit Home Premium

Any ideas?

Removing the file should be OK in this case.

Thanks for the reply.

I tinkered around with my registry and edited the last opened scene values and project path, and reloaded the tutorial, and it worked fine. Although every once in a while, I get the error.

Is this a Unity bug?
