Failed importing package

When ever i try to open one of my friends packages that he send me, like if he made a scene and sent it to me i cant open it. I get these 2 errors

Error while importing package: Package has unknown format
Failed importing package

Nothings wrong or weird about his package i saw what was in it on his screen, it was all made using unity and blender. It should be working

Also we both have the same version of unity. If anyone can offer me any advise it would be greatly appreciated

Either: He has some assets he didn’t send you.

Or …

You’re trying to use the import feature. Don’t. Unzip his files to a folder and then open the project file. It ends with “.unity”
