Failed to connect profiler to Linux platform

I’m attempting to profile our project but haven’t been able to connect the profiler to our target platform.

Our project is built for Linux, it is a development build. I’ve attempted builds with the Autoconnect Profiler box checked and un-checked. In either case, the project will run but doesn’t connect. If I attempt to manually connect, I get two messages and an error :

Attempting to connect to player IP
Connected to player IP
[65261] The message header is corrupted and for security reasons connection will be terminated.

I tried researching the error but I wasn’t able to find anything substantial.

Does anyone have any idea why this might be occurring?

I have made Windows builds, and have been able to successfully attach the Unity profiler for that target platform, I just can’t get the Linux build to work.
