So we have a 31GB project inside plastic. Just did the initial set up and added some team members.
the one team member already has the full project on their machine. When they try to access the plastic they get the failed to connect error. Is there a way to avoid the initial 32gb sync to local machine from Data center? Maybe by way of directory path to his existing build folder?

Is this user having an error when running the update to download the project? Can you attach their client logs?
C:\Users\xxx\AppData\Local\plastic4\logs
They could potentially create a Gluon workspace so they can configure the workspaces and download just the files they need:

They sorted the issue. Was a port and network speed issue.
