i am building a light project where i want to have my phone camera pointed at objects and spawn a prefab on said objects so im using an AR tracked image manager in combination with a reference image library library containing some imported 2080x4624 images of a skull decoration (the test object that i want to track). I have created a prefab and thats pretty much all there is now when i try the app on the unity ar simulator it works fine but when i install it on my realme GT Master i get the error Failed to load XRReferenceImage library:library does not contain ar core data. I have tried various fixes like changing the texture type and shape of the images and also i tried the solution from this post (Failed to load XRReferenceImage library:library does not contain ar core data) but nothing worked. This might be due to the tracking quality of the images - do you get any messages in the console when you build your app?
None at all. The images are of good quality and I thought that the item (a bull skull mounted on a solid color wall) was a distinct item to be recognized. Do you suggest maybe if the images were of something else like a store sign let’s say I wouldn’t get this error?
You can check with the arcoreimg
tool what quality score ARCore gives them. Otherwise I’m not sure what could be happening and it’s hard to debug from screenshots, but if you file a bug report and let us know the incident number we can have a look.
I did check with the arcoreimg tool and i got Failed to get enough keypoints from target image for all except one that it returned 0 so im going to try with different images of a shop sign and update back
